PRIVATE BROWSER TOOL
Send a secret. One link. One reveal.
Write a note below and encrypt it without an account. The key stays in the link fragment.
The first explicit reveal consumes the note. Loading a link preview does not. Encrypted in this browser. No signup.
What one-open means
The server deletes the live ciphertext during its first authorized retrieval. Opening a link with the wrong key can consume the note without showing its contents. Someone who reads it can still copy or photograph it.
Who can open it?
Anyone with the complete link can open it once before expiry. Keep the link private. Vanish has not had an independent security audit, and infrastructure backups or logs may persist beyond live deletion.
Questions about this tool
Does a link preview burn the note?
Loading the page does not consume it. A holder of the complete link must explicitly choose Decrypt & Reveal.
Can I open a one-open note twice?
The first authorized retrieval consumes the live ciphertext, even if decryption fails. Recipient copies, provider logs and backups may remain.
