VANISH PRIVATE CHAT GUIDE
Burn after a message is viewed
When enabled for a room, a recipient browser asks to decrypt and reveal a message. The live server row is then deleted, and connected screens hide it ten seconds later.
What a confirmation means
It indicates that a cooperating browser decrypted and rendered the message after a click. It cannot prove a person read it, prevent a screenshot, or erase a device copy.
If someone is offline
A disconnected browser may miss the live signal and catches up from a burn record when it reconnects. Expired rooms stop access regardless.
Before you start
Do I need an account to create a room?
No. Create a free temporary room in your browser and share its complete secret invite directly.
Can recipients keep copies after expiry?
Yes. Room expiry stops access through Vanish, but it cannot erase screenshots or other copies made by recipients.
