Terms of use
Use Vanish for lawful, short-lived conversations and understand how the service works before sharing an invite.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the messages you send and for choosing who receives the complete invite. Do not use Vanish to break the law, abuse others, or share material you have no right to share.
Service availability
Vanish is offered as an evolving service. Rooms, messages, and availability are not guaranteed. Do not rely on it for emergencies, legal notices, financial authorization, regulated records, or information that must be retained.
Room access and expiry
Anyone with the full secret link can join until the room expires or its creator ends it. You cannot selectively revoke one invite holder or recover an expired room. Recipients can save what they see.
Privacy and security
Messages are encrypted in the browser, but Vanish has not had an independent security audit. Read the privacy and security pages before using it for sensitive conversations.
