VANISH PRIVATE CHAT GUIDE
A throwaway chat with clear limits
Vanish creates a temporary private room without asking for a name, email, phone number, or profile.
One link, one room
People with the complete invite can join until expiry. Do not post the link publicly or reuse it as proof of identity.
After the deadline
The backend stops reads and writes at expiry. Scheduled cleanup removes expired live messages; copies on participant devices are outside Vanish’s control.
Before you start
Do I need an account to create a room?
No. Create a free temporary room in your browser and share its complete secret invite directly.
Can recipients keep copies after expiry?
Yes. Room expiry stops access through Vanish, but it cannot erase screenshots or other copies made by recipients.
