VANISH PRIVATE CHAT GUIDE
Temporary private chat, ready in seconds
Open a short-lived room without creating another account or inbox.
What you can do
Create a room without signing up, choose a five-minute, one-hour, one-day, or seven-day deadline, and send one private invite. Participants can reply in the same room. Message bodies and optional images are encrypted in each browser before upload.
What happens when the timer runs out
The server refuses new reads and writes after the deadline. A cleanup job removes expired live messages. That is a limit on future access, not a promise that every copy vanishes instantly. A participant can save content, and provider logs or backups may follow longer schedules.
When another tool is a better fit
Choose a service with verified identities if you must know exactly who is speaking. Choose a durable workplace or records system if you need search, compliance, recovery, or an audit trail. Do not use a temporary room for emergencies or information that must be retained.
Before you create the room
Pick the shortest practical lifetime. Decide how you will reach the recipient privately. If a leaked link would matter, enable the optional PIN and send it through a separate channel. A short PIN adds friction, but it cannot repair a compromised device or untrusted recipient.
Questions and answers
Can a participant save messages?
